Where the Professionals Rent

By ACT Construction EquipmentUpdated October 2026
Takeuchi TL11R3 compact track loader from the ACT rental fleet
ACT rents the equipment it sells and services, serviced and ready to work, delivered across the Carolinas from the Charlotte branch.
Quick Answer

ACT rents Takeuchi and Develon excavators and track loaders, Develon and Avant wheel loaders, Bandit chippers and stump grinders, and dozers, dump trucks, telehandlers, and the CMC spider lift to businesses across North and South Carolina. Rates start at $175 a day and are listed by model on each category page below. Set up credit online, choose ACT’s loss and damage waiver or bring your own certificate of insurance, and the rental desk quotes delivery to your site. Call 800.462.2447.

Professionals rent from ACT because the machine arrives serviced, the rate is the rate, and the people on the phone sell and service the same equipment every day. Charlotte holds the fleet and ships to every branch, so a machine that is not on your branch’s lot today is usually a phone call away.

How renting from ACT works

  1. Describe the job. Call or send the form with what you are doing, the site conditions, and how long the work should run. The rental desk recommends the machine, the attachments, and the term.
  2. Set up credit. New to ACT? The credit application is online and takes a few minutes.
  3. Choose your coverage. Add ACT’s loss and damage waiver to the agreement, or provide a certificate of insurance from your own carrier.
  4. Pick up or take delivery. Bring a trailer rated for the machine, or have ACT deliver. Delivery and pickup are quoted by location.
  5. Run the job, then call. Normal wear is never charged. If the work runs long, keep the machine: the rental team extends it and moves you to the weekly or monthly rate when that is cheaper. When you are done, call 800.462.2447 to schedule pickup.

Rent near you

ACT rents from every branch: Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Raleigh, Wilmington, Asheville, Rock Hill, Myrtle Beach, and Rocky Mount. Equipment ships from Charlotte, so the branch nearest you sets up the rental and the machine comes to your site. One number reaches the rental desk for all of them: 800.462.2447.
