  Pettibone Extendo 944X

  The Extendo 944X telehandler is powered by a standard 74-horsepower engine and is equipped with Pettibone hydraulics. It has a 9,000lbs load capacity and a forward reach of up to 30 feet, with a maximum lift height of 44 feet, 6 inches.

  The DOC muffler on the 74-horsepower Deutz Tier 4 Final diesel engine eliminates the need for diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). Side pod mounting allows for quick service access while maintaining excellent curbside visibility and ground clearance. The ergonomic seat, pedal, joystick, and steering wheel positions make operating the machine comfortable. It is available as an enclosed cab or canopy, with an all-steel interior and water-resistant components for easy cleaning. Boom deflection has been reduced for improved control and accuracy when laying loads, while the boom overlap was nearly doubled to offer smoother operation and reduce contact forces on wear pads. The compression tilt design allows for a smaller bore cylinder while maintaining the same tilt force.

  Cylinder cushioning dampens the end of strokes, both extending and retracting, preventing hard jarring stops and avoiding wear and tear as well as potential load spills.

  The Extendo 1046X is a 10,000-pound capacity machine with a lift height of up to 46 feet, 5 inches. It is available with a Cummins or a Deutz Tier 4 Final diesel engine. The Dana VDT12000 Powershift transmission offers three speeds, forward, reverse, and the full time 4-wheel drive offers a limited-slip front axle differential.
